FR 3 055 530 - A1 (57) The invention relates to a mixing system for manufacturing a cosmetic product. The invention also relates to a dispensing bottle for a cosmetic product.
The mixer system makes it possible to manufacture a cosmetic product from capsules (7, 8, 9) comprising the raw materials necessary for the composition of such a cosmetic product, namely the cosmetic texturing agent, the cosmetic active principle and, the if necessary, a cosmetic perfume.
The invention finds its application in the field of the cosmetic industry.

MIXER SYSTEM FOR MANUFACTURING A COSMETIC PRODUCT AND DISPENSING BOTTLE [001] The invention relates to a mixer system for manufacturing a cosmetic product. The invention also relates to a bottle for storing and distributing a cosmetic product produced with the emulsifier system.
In a manner known per se, cosmetic products, for example hydrating and / or anti-wrinkle creams, are composed in particular of a fatty material forming the fatty phase and containing in particular vegetable oils, butters, emulsifying waxes for use cosmetic, of an aqueous phase generally containing pure or floral water, or else any agent soluble in water and of at least one adjuvant called active principle conferring on the cosmetic product the desired efficiency. For example, this active principle can be an anti-aging active like hyaluronic acid. In addition, the cosmetic product may include a natural or synthetic fragrance, which makes the application and use of the cosmetic product more pleasant.
However, the cosmetic products in the form of an emulsion available do not offer the possibility of freely choosing their fat composition, active principles and perfumes, the fatty phase influencing in particular the texture of the cream, its viscosity, its spreading power, its feeling on application. In addition, the consumer cannot always find the desired combination of fat - active ingredient - fragrance.
The present invention aims to overcome the above drawbacks of the prior art.

With reference to the figures and according to the invention, a mixing system for manufacturing a cosmetic product will now be described.
The mixing system comprises a liquid reservoir 1. This liquid reservoir 1 comprises an internal wall 26 separating the reservoir 1 into a first liquid compartment 27 and into a second liquid compartment 28, the respective functions of which will be specified below. below. The liquid compartment 27 comprises the aqueous phase entering into the composition of the cosmetic product, and which is preferably demineralized water or floral water (that is to say a hydrosol), but it can also be act with a more complex aqueous liquid composed of water and additives such as glycerin or a polymer allowing the creation of a three-dimensional network. The liquid compartment 28 comprises pure or demineralized water, or simply tap water. In the following description, the first and second liquid compartments 27 and 28 will be called first and second water compartments 27 and 28 The mixer system comprises a liquid pump 2 controlled by a control means of the mixer system and the inlet of which is connected to the outlet of the first water compartment 27 of the reservoir 1. The control means is for example an electronic circuit supplied with electricity by means of a transformer included in the mixer system and connected to the network domestic electric. For simplicity in the following description, this liquid pump 2 will be called water pump 2. The water pump 2 is adapted to ensure the circulation of water from the first water compartment 27 of the tank 1 to a receptacle 3 comprising at least two compartments 4, 5, and preferably three compartments 4, 5, 6 as shown in FIG. 3, the compartments of receptacle 3 thus being connected to the water pump 2. The receptacle 3 has a substantially frustoconical shape , in which the compartments 4, 5, 6 are formed. In addition, the bottom wall of each compartment 4, 5, 6 comprises in its center a circular through hole 38a, 38b, 38c to allow the flow of liquid in a mixing device of the mixing system, as will be explained below.
The compartments 4, 5, 6 of the receptacle are intended to house capsules 7, 8, 9 containing various compounds for the preparation of the final cosmetic product. The first compartment 4 of the receptacle 3 is adapted to accommodate a capsule 7 containing a cosmetic texturing agent. This texturing agent is preferably a cosmetic fat, optionally added with an emulsifier based on amphiphilic molecules. Alternatively, this texturing agent is a polymer for cosmetic use, for example a polysaccharide such as xanthan gum or a polymer of acrylic acid of the carbomer type. For simplicity in the following description, this capsule 7 of cosmetic texturing agent will be called cosmetic fat capsule 7.
The second compartment 5 of the receptacle 3 is suitable for housing a capsule 8 containing a cosmetic active principle, that is to say a compound known for its cosmetic properties, for example anti-wrinkle or moisturizing. In addition, this capsule 8 can comprise a preservative mixed with the cosmetic active principle. The third compartment 6 of the receptacle 3 is for its part adapted to accommodate a capsule 9 containing a cosmetic perfume, for perfuming the final cosmetic product.
The receptacle also comprises a circular cover 15 intended to cover the compartments 4, 5, 6 of the receptacle 3. This cover 15 is manually movable in translation between a closed position completely covering the compartments 4, 5, 6 and an open position by means of an operating arm 34 secured to a cylindrical axis 35 rotatably mounted by bearings to a housing (not shown) secured to the receptacle 3, and the end of which comprises a toothed sector 36 in mesh with a rod forming a rack 37 projecting perpendicularly and coaxially from the face of the circular cover 15 opposite the face of the cover 15 covering the compartments 4, 5, 6 of the receptacle 3.
The mixer system further comprises means for piercing the capsules 7, 8, 9, comprising on the one hand a plurality of teeth 13 projecting from the bottom wall of each compartment 4, 5, 6 of the receptacle 3 and intended to pierce a first wall of each capsule 7, 8, 9 when the cover 15 is in the closed position. On the other hand, the piercing means comprise hollow needles 14 connected in fluid communication to the water pump 2 of the mixer system and passing through the cover 15 to pierce respectively the second walls of the capsules 7, 8, 9 housed in the compartments correspondents 4, 5, 6.
The head of each hollow needle 14 has a flared tip so that the needle 14 pierces a hole in the wall of the corresponding capsule 7, 8, 9 with a diameter greater than the diameter of the needle 14, which will allow air to enter the capsule from the top when the capsule empties of its liquid, to facilitate its flow. According to the same principle, the teeth 13 are wider at mid-height than at their base so that once the other wall of the corresponding capsule 7, 8, 9 has been pierced, the holes are not blocked by the base of the teeth and that the liquid can flow out. The three capsules 7, 8, 9 will then be pierced simultaneously, however the liquids contained in the capsules 7, 8, 9 will flow successively, as will be seen later in the description.
The mixing device comprises a container 11 positioned to be in fluid communication with the outlet 38a, 38b, 38c of each of the compartments 4, 5, 6 of the receptacle 3 and a mixing member 12 housed in the container 11 and suitable for create the cosmetic product in this container 11 from two mixtures of water and cosmetic fat and water and cosmetic active ingredient respectively, and if necessary from a third mixture of water and cosmetic perfume . These mixtures are obtained by circulating water from the first water compartment 27 of the reservoir 1 through hollow needles 13 of the piercing means for passing through the capsules 7, 8, 9 housed in their respective compartments 4, 5, 6.
According to a preferred embodiment shown in the figures, the container 11 of the mixer device is a removable cylindrical tube closed by a bottom wall to allow the storage of the cosmetic product produced. The mixing member 12 in this embodiment comprises a piston 12a forming the bottom wall of the container 11 and a plurality of radial fins 22 integral with the piston 12a and projecting from the upper face of the piston 12a. The piston 12a is able to be driven in rotation with the fins 22, when the removable container 11 is mounted on the mixer system, by a toothed ring 23 mounted in a support base 25 of the container 11 coaxially with the latter. The axial teeth 24a of the crown 23 are all located on the same side of the crown 23 and are capable of being coupled to the piston 12a. In addition, the ring gear 23 comprises a portion of axis 24b projecting perpendicularly to the ring 23 and also intended to be coupled by clipping to the piston 12a to facilitate centering of the piston 12a on the ring gear 23 and to prevent any movement of translation of the piston 12a in the container 11 when the piston 12a is rotated.
The crown 23 can in turn be rotated by an electric motor of the mixer system controlled by the control means of the mixer system.
In addition, the bottom of the container 11 has notches 11a for fitting into corresponding stops on the base 25, which prevents the container 11 from rotating during the rotation of the piston 12a so that only the latter rotates. Finally, the shape and position of the fins 22 of the piston 12a make it possible, preferably, to produce an emulsion from the fatty phase originating from the fat capsule 7 and from the water contained in the water compartment 27 corresponding. In the following description, we will preferentially speak of an emulsion, but any other type of cosmetic product that is simpler to produce, for example a gel or a lotion, can be produced with the mixing system.
The cosmetic fat contained in the corresponding capsule 7 is in the solid state. To make the mixture of water and cosmetic fat, it is therefore necessary to melt this fat and bring it to a temperature around 75 ° C. A first alternative, not shown, consists in integrating a heating resistor in the compartment 4 of the receptacle 3 of the cosmetic fat capsule 7. A second preferred alternative and shown in particular in FIG. 1 is the integration of a heating means 10 water controlled by the control means of the mixer system and connected to the water pump 2 of the mixer system and to the hollow needle 14 connected to the compartment 4 adapted to receive the cosmetic fat capsule 7 and intended to pierce this capsule 7. This heating means 10 is preferably an internal electrical resistance heating block, or a combination of these two alternatives if necessary.
In this way, the water flowing to the compartment 4 comprising the cosmetic fat capsule 7 and passing through the latter is hot and melts the cosmetic fat, to allow the mixture to flow into the container 11.
In a first alternative embodiment of the cosmetic product, the circulation of water is carried out simultaneously in all the capsules 7, 8, 9, causing the simultaneous flow of the three mixtures in the container 11 which are emulsified to form the product cosmetic. However, in order to avoid exposing the cosmetic active principle, and if necessary the cosmetic perfume to excessively high temperatures, a second alternative for producing the cosmetic product described below is preferred.
Indeed, it is preferable at first to make in the container 11 an emulsion of hot water and cosmetic fat and then to cool this emulsion. To do this, the mixing system comprises a hollow block with circulation of cooling water 17 partially surrounding the container 11. The water inlet and outlet of this block 17 are connected to the second water compartment 28 of the tank. 1 by another pump 18 to cool the emulsion in the container 11. The amount of emulsion to be cooled being negligible compared to the amount of water in the compartment 28, the circulation of the cooling water in a closed loop is sufficient without risking that this water will overheat. At the end of this cooling, the cosmetic active ingredient and perfume are added to the emulsion to form the cosmetic product, by piercing the capsules 8, 9 and optionally circulation of water at room temperature from the first water compartment 27 of the reservoir 1 through the corresponding capsules 8, 9.
In order to ensure the successive flow of the mixtures in the container 11, the mixer system comprises a selector plate 16 with rotation controlled by the control means of the mixer system. This selector plate 16 is disposed between the respective outlets of the compartments 4, 5, 6 of the receptacle 3 and the container 11 and has a through orifice 39 which can be selectively and successively disposed at the outlet 38a of the compartment 4 with a cosmetic fat capsule 7 for the passage of the mixture of water and cosmetic fat in the container 11 and at the outlet 38b of the compartment 5 with a capsule of cosmetic active principle 8 for the passage of the mixture of water and cosmetic active principle in the container 11 and, the where appropriate, at the outlet 38c of the compartment 6 with a cosmetic perfume capsule 9 for the passage of the mixture of water and cosmetic perfume in the container 11. In addition, the base 25 is displaceable in translation to allow moving away or closer together the opening of the container 11 from the outlet of the through orifice 39 of the selector plate 16.
The circumferential edge of the selector plate 16 is toothed and meshing with a pinion 32 which can be rotated by an electric motor 33 secured to the housing of the mixer system and controlled by the control means. The capsule receptacle 3 and rotary selector plate 16 assembly is removable relative to the general shell of the mixer system, the motor 33 being integral with the general shell of the machine.
In addition, the mixer system comprises two solenoid valves 19, 20 controlled by the control means and respectively disposed between the outlet of the water pump 2 of the mixer system and the heating means 10 of the water and between the outlet of the water pump 2 of the mixer system and the two compartments 5, 6 capable of receiving respectively the cosmetic active ingredient capsule 8 and the perfume capsule 9. To make connections possible, the inputs of the two solenoid valves 19, 20 are connected at the outlet of the water pump 2 from the mixing system via a T-connector 30, and the two compartments 5, 6 for capsules with active principle and perfume 8, 9 are connected to the outlet of the corresponding solenoid valve 20 via another T-connector 31.
All connections are made via flexible pipes 29, for example polyvinyl chloride.
The mixer system also includes a flow meter 21 connected between the inlet of the water pump 2 of the mixer system and the outlet of the first water compartment 27 of the tank 1. As will be seen below, the data from flowmeter 21 are used by the control means to deliver the necessary and sufficient volume of water through each capsule 7, 8, 9 for the manufacture of the cosmetic product.
A method of manufacturing a cosmetic product using a mixer system according to the invention will now be described.
First, the user sets up the different capsules 7, 8, 9 in the compartments 4, 5, 6 of the receptacle 3 which is for this step separated from the mixer system together with the rotary plate 16. Au minimum, the user inserts a cosmetic fat capsule 7 and a cosmetic active ingredient capsule 8 into the corresponding compartments 4, 5 of the receptacle 3. Preferably, the user also inserts a cosmetic perfume capsule 9 into the corresponding compartment 6 of the receptacle 3. Once the capsules in place, the user inserts the removable assembly formed by the receptacle 3 and the selector plate 16 in the mixer system. Then, the user puts the base 25 in the low position, if it is not already, and clips the piston 12a onto the ring gear 23, then he clips the container 11 over the piston 12a, the piston 12a then being inside the container 11. It can then mount the base 25 in the high position, the top of the bottle then being just under the opening of the through orifice 39 of the rotary selector plate 16.
Subsequently, the user lowers the cover 15 of the receptacle 3 via the operating arm 34 provided for this purpose, so that the cover 15 completely covers the compartments 4, 5, 6 of the receptacle 3 in which capsules 7, 8, 9 are housed. In this way, the different capsules 7, 8, 9 present in the receptacle 3 are pierced, by means of the piercing means 13, 14, respectively at their first and second walls as described above. The rotary selector plate 16 is at this time in the closed position with respect to all the compartments 4, 5, 6 of the receptacle 3, that is to say that the through orifice 39 is not in fluid communication with any outputs 38a, 38b, 38c of the respective compartments 4, 5, 6.
Finally, the user turns on the mixer system and initiates, for example by pressing a button provided for this purpose, a cosmetic product manufacturing program saved in a memory space of the mixer system control means, this program being executed by the control means to allow the implementation of the manufacturing process of the cosmetic product.
The first step of the method consists in supplying energy to the electrical resistance of the heating block 10. Once the resistance 10 reaches an operating temperature, for example measured by a sensor included in the mixer system or else simply after a determined time, the control means starts the water pump 2 connected to the first water compartment 27 of the tank 1 to initiate the circulation of water to the compartment 4 of the receptacle 3 comprising the capsule of cosmetic fat 7. The solenoid valve 19 connected to this compartment 4 is therefore opened by the control means so that a first volume of hot liquid calculated by the control means from the data of the flow meter 21 enters the capsule of fat 7 to melt the fat. Once this first volume of water has entered the capsule 7, the control means closes the solenoid valve 19. After a given time, the control means rotates the selector plate 16 so that the orifice 39 of said selector plate 16 is placed in fluid communication with the outlet 38a of this compartment 4 to allow the flow of the mixture of water and melted fat in the container. The motor controlling the rotation of the ring gear 23 is set in rotation, inducing the rotation drive of the piston 12a and of the fins 22 of the mixing member to create an emulsion from the mixture of hot water and cosmetic fat. flowing in the container 11. The control means opens, at the end of the flow in the container 11 of this first volume of hot water mixed with the molten cosmetic fat, the solenoid valve 19 to allow the flow through the capsule of a second volume of water in order to rinse the capsule 7 of the remaining fat.
After a given time, once the second volume of hot water calculated by the control means from the data of the flow meter 21 has passed through the cosmetic fat capsule 7, the second step of the process is Implementation.
During this second step, the solenoid valve 19 connected to the compartment 4 of the receptacle 3 comprising the cosmetic fat capsule 7 is closed, the resistance of the heating block 10 is no longer supplied and the water pump 2 connected to the first water compartment 27 of the tank 1 is stopped by the control means. Concomitantly, the water pump 18 connected to the second water compartment 28 of the tank 1 and to the cooling water circulation block 17 is started for a given time to cool the emulsion in the container 11.
Once the cooling time has elapsed and the emulsion has reached a temperature of around 40 ° C, the third step of the process is implemented: the control means optionally stops the connected water pump 18 to the cooling water circulation block 17 and controls the rotation of the selector plate 16 so that its orifice 39 is in fluid communication with the outlet 38b of the compartment 5 of the receptacle 3 in which the capsule of cosmetic active principle 8 is housed . The capsule 8 then empties into the container 11. Then the control means controls the rotation of the selector plate 16 so that its orifice 39 is in fluid communication with the outlet 38c of the compartment 6 of the receptacle 3 in which the perfume capsule cosmetic 9 is housed, and the latter empties into the container 11. Then, the control means activates the water pump 2 connected to the first water compartment 27 of the tank 1, opens the solenoid valve 20 connected to the compartments 5 and 6 of the receptacle 3 comprising the cosmetic active ingredient capsule 8 and the perfume capsule 9. Cold rinse water is introduced into the capsules 8 and 9, the contents of the capsule 9 emptying directly into the container 11. Once that a third volume of water calculated by the control means from the data of the flow meter 21 has been delivered in the two capsules 8 and 9, the control means closes the solenoid valve 20, stops the pump 18 and then controls the rotation of the selector plate 16 so that its orifice 39 returns to fluid communication with the orifice 38b of the compartment 5 comprising the capsule of active principle 8 which then empties into the container 11. The electric motor which drives the piston 12a and the fins 22 of the rotating mixing member 12 remain supplied, allowing the incorporation into the emulsion of the mixture of water and cosmetic active principle as well as the mixture of water and perfume.
Alternatively, if no perfume capsule 9 is added to the corresponding compartment 6, the third step of the process nevertheless proceeds in the same way. The water passing through the solenoid valve 20 will simply pass through the empty compartment 6 to the container 11.
During the fifth step of the method, the control means de-energizes the motor intended to drive the ring gear 23, which puts the piston 12a and the fins 22 of the mixing member 12 stopped, when the cosmetic product reaches a temperature below 35 ° C, even 30 ° C, or after a determined time. The user can then recover the container 11 with the piston 12a which acts as the bottom wall. A lid can be placed on the opening of the container 11 to protect the cosmetic product from air and keep it. More specifically, the user lowers the base 25, clips the cover onto the container 11 and unclips the container 11 from the ring gear 23. He can then raise the lever 34 and remove the removable assembly formed by the receptacle 3 and the plate selector 16 for throwing away used capsules and rinsing the removable assembly.
Advantageously, the user can use the container 11 removed from the mixer system and filled with the cosmetic product produced using the mixer system as a storage and dispensing bottle for the cosmetic product. To do this, a head closes the opening of the container 11 opposite the piston 12a, this head comprising a dispensing pump for the cosmetic product provided with a trigger which can be actuated manually. In addition, the head comprises a rigid tube immersed in the cosmetic product. This dispensing pump head and trigger is well known to those skilled in the art, and is found, for example, on certain bottles of cosmetic creams. When the user presses the trigger, a volume of cosmetic product is dispensed from the head. When the user releases the trigger, a depression in the container 11 is created, which causes the piston 12a in the container 11 to move in the direction of the head, to fill the volume of cosmetic product dispensed. The free end of the rigid tube secured to the head will therefore always be immersed in the cosmetic product.
The configuration of the mixing system of the invention is not limited to the embodiment described above and shown in the figures. It has been given only as a non-limiting example. Multiple modifications can be made without departing from the scope of the invention. In particular, the container 11 of the mixing device can be non-removable and the mixing member 12 then comprises a propeller mounted at the bottom of the container 11 on an axis coaxial with the latter. This axis is mounted in the bottom wall of the container 11 and is capable of being driven by an electric motor mounted in the mixer system and controlled by the control system of the mixer system. In addition, in order to recover the cosmetic product produced in a storage bottle, the container 11 comprises a timed valve in its bottom wall to allow the flow of the emulsion by gravity. Alternatively, this valve can be actuated manually, and the cosmetic product flows by gravity into the bottle if the latter is relatively fluid, or by overpressure applied in the container 11 by an appropriate hydraulic or pneumatic system if the product is too thick or viscous. . One could also imagine, in place of the selector plate 16, the pinion 32 and the associated motor 33, a set of solenoid valves whose inputs are placed in fluid communication respectively with the outputs 38a, 38b, 38c of the respective compartments 4, 5, 6 of the receptacle 3. Finally, one could imagine a cooling block 28 without circulation of water, this block 28, comprising a cold accumulating liquid, being placed in the freezer before use of the mixing system. In this case, the liquid tank 1 is with a single compartment and the second water pump 18 is not necessary.
